Good pick! It started a little slow, but picked up in the middle.
I loved the chivalry and loyalty of the people described in the book. A boy committment to a girl whom he loved and couldn't help led to a lifetime committment to the mother of his children. It was nice to read about a character with a moral compass.
Loved this book! Enjoyed learning more about the culture in WWII, and the story of love was classic. Great pick!
