Bookclub summary: Well, just like in the book, we traveled to three different locations. What an adventure!! After being ignored at Olive Garden we went to Bangkok Alley where we were ignored for a little and then graced with a s-l-o-w waiter and two dessert choices. We discussed the book and author. I think we were all so excited to be out together! We got new bookmarks and journals...with the tease of another giveaway next month. After dinner/dessert and schmootsy wine glasses (Christine's glass was crusty!) we thought we would be off to the Grove for coffee, but it was closed so we ventured to our third destination...Starbucks. There we read Christine's choices and voted on our pick. It was a fun and memorable bookclub, that's for sure! :)
YAY! Our first official bookclub as LIT CHICKS!!!!! I had fun...I was so glad to be out with all of you. I like how we went to three different places like the author did! :)

I am only a few chapters in, but I really like the book so far! I like the author's sense of humor. I can't wait to read about her journeys.
I just read that Julia Roberts is to star in the movie!!!!

It was wonderful sitting down with you ladies and discussing literature and life. Next time I'm getting mango pie like the others.
I had a GREAT time! I thought our evening went well with the book. I enjoyed our discussions and my mango pie! Great night!
I kinda liked the book. I guess I was hoping to get more out of it...like how to be happy. I thought the middle part of the book was boring.
