I was just talking to Chris's cousin in NC. I graduated HS with her, but we weren't close or anything. In our discussions I found out she is a huge reader--which shouldn't surprise me since she was an English major and she works for a publisher doing editing.
She showed me her shelfari collection...I had never heard of that website. She has read almost every book we have read in our book club (well, the good ones at least!). Snow Flower, Sister's Keeper, Red Tent, Kite Runner, Water for Elephants, The Other Boleyn Girl, and one of her favorites of all time is The Time Traveler's Wife!!
Anyway, since she obviously has good taste in books, I thought I'd show y'all her shelfari bookshelf! It might give you some ideas of something you want to read!
